Getting Involved
We're so excited you want to learn more about volunteering at Freedom House! When you serve, you help to create a warm and welcoming place for everyone who comes through our doors.
We have eight main areas for volunteers to connect:
- Guest Services. These teams believe the sermon starts in the parking lot. They're made up of people who love welcoming every guest in a way that shines Christ's passion and love.
- FHCKids. These team members support FHC's growing children's ministry in many ways.
- Vertical. This team is for those who have a heart to see middle and high school students grow and fall in love with Jesus daily. Vertical meets Thursday nights.
- Care & Outreach. From prayer and encouragement to community projects, these teams serve people who need love and support.
- Creativity & Tech. These teams are part of what makes Sunday morning services look and feel great, both on the stage and behind the scenes.
- Special Events. These team members have an eye for detail and a heart for excellence. They want every guest to have an unforgettable experience.
- Setup & Breakdown. Members of this team help to change Stoney Creek Elementary School into Freedom House Church each weekend, setting the stage for life change.
- Office Admin. This team creates a welcoming place for guests and visitors at our church offices. They assist the staff with tasks that are key to making weekend services happen every Sunday.
For details about each area, download our Volunteer Opportunities Handbook. If you'd like to get involved, please complete the correct volunteer application (see the handbook) and turn it in at our church office, or this Sunday at our Welcome Center.
