Planet Zion

Kenrick and Chanda Church are the team leaders of the Planet Zion classroom. This energetic, creative duo are parents themselves with a child in Kids’ Church, and they’ve ministered to kids at FHC since our second year. Thanks to their influence, Planet Zion is a high-impact class packed with creative storytelling, skits, science experiments, and audio-visual helps. Kids can’t wait to get to Planet Zion every Sunday because the Churches serve and teach them with love, excitement and enthusiasm.

Planet Zion is our classroom for kids ages 7-12. Set in outer space, the room is decorated with lots of stars, planets, and metallic colors. The room is always high energy, so when the kids arrive they know they're in for the ride of their lives!

On Planet Zion we invite kids to dig deeper into the Word of God through creative story-telling, object lessons, science experiments and the occasional sleight of hand. Our goal is to build the children's excitement for Jesus and the Word, and to empower them with the tools to face challenges in their world. Once they outgrow Planet Zion, they'll be ready to become history makers and world shakers!

You should also know that the children's safety is a top priority, and we don't take chances with their well-being. That's why we're also pleased to share that all teachers and volunteers in our Kids' Church classrooms undergo a thorough screening process, including a detailed criminal background check.
