Getting Involved
We're so excited you want to learn more about volunteering at Freedom House! When you serve, you help to create an environment that's warm and welcoming to everyone who comes through our doors! We offer four general areas for volunteers to connect. Within each area there are various opportunties to get involved. Once you decide which area appeals to you, our team leaders will evaluate your desires and experience, then place you accordingly.
Set up/Breakdown Team. Members of this team help to transform University Meadows Elementary School into Freedom House Church each weekend.
FHCKids Team. This team serves the needs of our children and teens. We have four children's classrooms for children up to 6th grade, along with our student ministry for those in grades 7 to 12.
We have a separate application for FHCKids Volunteers.
Guest Services Team. This team includes each area at FHC that serves our guests, including our greeters, ushers, Salt resource table, hospitality and parking.
Tech Team. This team is directly involved in the technology that drives our Sunday services.
